Strobr Scope 1.1

Strobr Scope presents an innovative approach to stroboscopic measurement, employing a camera-based system that utilizes continuously variable frame rates to accurately assess the frequencies of various cycles. Unlike traditional stroboscopes that emit flashes of light at fixed frequencies to match the rotational speeds of objects, such as a car wheel, Strobr Scope adapts this concept by offering enhanced flexibility. This versatility enables the measurement of a wider range of phenomena, including electrical light frequencies and very slow rotations, which traditional stroboscopes often struggle to capture.

Additionally, Strobr Scope distinguishes itself by being less intrusive than conventional stroboscopes, making it a more convenient option for both users and bystanders. Developed during PennApps 2017, the app garnered recognition by securing a position among the top 30 projects showcased at the event.
